Executive Program Manager – Technologies & PMO


Location: Brussels

Type: Full-time on site (5 days/week)

Duration: Initial assignment of 12 to 18 months (possibility of extension)


Context & Objective


We are looking for an Executive Program Manager to lead the implementation of a structured PMO and ensure governance of a strategic program related to technologies and automation in the airport sector. This role is critical for separating certain clients activities, strengthening governance, and ensuring proper financial and contractual management of the program.



Key Responsibilities


  • PMO Leadership: Define and implement the structure, processes, and methodology (inspired by the client but adapted to the context).
  • Governance & Communication: Organize and lead steering committees, ensure transparency and coordination among stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients, strategic partners, internal divisions, and executive management.
  • Contract Management: Oversee long-term contracts (15-year framework, large budget), ensuring compliance with commitments and contractual specifics.
  • Financial Monitoring: Work closely with the Finance Controller to ensure budget discipline and reporting accuracy.
  • Tactical & Operational Support: Step into operational details when necessary while maintaining a strategic vision.
  • Project Coordination: Although PMs report to another executive, ensure overall consistency and anticipate a potential evolution toward a managerial role.

Profile


  • Experience: Solid experience in managing complex programs, ideally in an industrial, IT, or automation context (retail or finance is a plus).
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of IT environments (industrial & financial), automation.
  • Personal Qualities: Leadership, rigor, top-down vision, ability to work in a consortium with long-term stakes, charismatic leader
  • Mobility: Driving license required (occasional travel), short-term trips might occurred
