DevOps Engineer

Main Targets / Goals

Support continuous innovation and modernization of the IT/application landscape by:

• Implementing and managing application hosting platforms.
• Automating integration, testing, deployment, and configuration processes.
• Ensuring platform robustness and reliability.
• Collaborating with Agile/Scrum teams to resolve incidents and improve performance.
• Contributing to the company’s cloud transformation (“Cloudification journey”).

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and automate cloud and on-premise environments.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to support ongoing projects.
• Monitor and improve platform performance and security.
• Proactively suggest and implement improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• Strong Linux administration skills (Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL).
• Scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Understanding of complex platform management.

Assets (Nice to Have)

• Experience managing cloud resources, pipelines, and databases (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Java applications or open-source contributions.
