Responsabilities

 

As Platform Owner – Digital Commerce, you will be in charge of managing and developing the e-commerce platform of one specific brand within the Lavafields portfolio. You will oversee its configuration, optimization, and performance to deliver a seamless user experience and measurable business growth.

 

Platform Management & Configuration

·      Manage the Shopify platform of your brand(s): configure product catalogs (selection, descriptions, visuals, pricing), stores, and promotions.

·      Implement and adjust features via the Shopify editor (content, theme settings, simple integrations).

 

Performance & Customer Experience

·      Track and analyze key KPIs (conversion rate, revenue, customer satisfaction, etc.) and define corrective actions when necessary.

·      Continuously optimize the customer journey, ensuring accessibility, site speed, funnel performance, and clarity of evolution.

·      Deploy satisfaction measurement tools (CES, post-purchase surveys, etc.) and implement improvements based on customer feedback.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

·      Work closely with marketing, sales, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure product availability, coherence, and attractiveness in line with seasonal highlights (Sales, Black Friday, Christmas, etc.).

·      Optimize the fulfillment process to guarantee on-time delivery and smooth operations.

 

Strategy & Roadmap

·      Define and prioritize the roadmap for your brand’s platform in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

·      Write user stories, manage the backlog, and follow up on implementations while ensuring consistency and quality.

·      Monitor digital commerce trends and propose innovations to keep your brand’s platform competitive and engaging.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Experience & qualifications

 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities and skills:

 

·      Proven experience in e-commerce management, digital marketing, or product ownership

·      Understanding of catalog management and data analysis tools (Google Analytics, BI tools, etc.)

·      Mastery of a digital commerce platform (content management, settings, customization) – experience with Shopify is a plus

·      Technical mindset with coding skills for simple configurations and integrations

·      Strong analytical abilities with both strategic (macro) and operational (micro) vision

·      Excellent collaboration and communication skills across departments

·      Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus

·      Curious, structured, and results-oriented, with strong organizational skills

·      Solid knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce strategies

·      Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive measurable results

·      Team player with autonomy and rigor

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

·      Master’s degree in a relevant field or equilavent by experience

·      Ability to present information clearly to stakeholders at all levels, through written documents, presentations and verbal communication
