As a Data & Analytics Application Analyst within the Data & Analytics team, you play an instrumental role in the realization of this vision by analysing analytical needs, translating them to data needs, and documenting the related functional requirements and designs:

• You analyse the client’s business needs and translate them into understandable functional specifications and use cases allowing the reuse and/or development of data pipelines and reports

• You are in regular contact with your business contacts and their directors – you are the go-to resource for colleagues and business stakeholders

• You provide valuable input and recommendations on reporting techniques to the business, utilizing mockups, proof-of-concepts, and best practices

• You work closely with stakeholders in all departments (data users, data suppliers, and other stakeholders) to develop and manage roadmaps

• You are interested in transport plans and transport operations and want to contribute to improving operational efficiency and passenger service

• You assist the development and test team in translating your requirements correctly into validated data assets, reports and test scenarios

• You document the solutions and keep this documentation up to date

• You regularly coordinate with data owners, data architects, data custodians, and data consumers to draw up and manage the necessary roadmaps (improvements, bugs, incidents)

• Together with the data architects, you ensure alignment with existing business and solution architecture, consulting with Enterprise, System, and Solution Architects as needed

Evaluation Criteria

• You have in-depth knowledge of and proven experience with Azure data estate

• You have knowledge of various analysis techniques (use cases, scenario creation, etc.)

• You have good communication and stakeholder management skills

• You are methodical, precise and have attention to detail

• You are proactive, have strong problem-solving skills, are practice-oriented and organized

• You have knowledge of transport operations in the railway sector

Conformity Criteria

• You have a master’s degree

• You have knowledge of and experience with Agile Scrum

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position (Application Owner, Functional Analyst, …)

• You communicate fluently in Dutch, French and English (spoken and written). Dutch or French as a mother tongue or at least C level. Other language at least B2. English B2

• You can physically come to the offices at least 2 days per week

• You have legal authorisation to work in Belgium
