Mission: DevOps Engineer
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role at the intersection of development, operations, and continuous improvement. You will support development teams, technical support teams, and various internal stakeholders in their daily activities while acting as a role model for quality, automation, and best practices across release and deployment processes.
This role goes far beyond maintaining pipelines: you will actively look for opportunities to improve, optimise, and automate existing processes, embracing a proactive approach toward operational excellence. Your mindset aligns with the principle “Automate, don’t click” reducing manual work and limiting operational risk.
You want to:
Understand system architecture and modifications of it to improve processes implementations (K8S, Ansible,…);
Give accurate estimations, actual and ETC (estimate time of completion);
Manage access control to source code and build tools;
Train new users on tools;
Follow up upgrade of tools and technologies for the development and deployment process;
Monitor tools and development/test platforms;
Take quality related decisions;
Choose the most appropriate solution among a set of learned possible choices;
Help estimating budget for tools and user licenses;
Help the Product owner defining the roadmap of several tools;
Demonstrate professional individual relationships with internal and external Stakeholders to deliver required outcomes.
Automate things instead of clicking in interfaces (often referred as ClickOps)
You have:
A Bachelor or equivalent level acquired through experience;
You are familiar with tools as Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, linux, Bash, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, K8S;
You have a good knowledge of CI/CD Implementation, follow up and support;
A minimum of 3 years of experience in automating deployments of applications towards several environments;
An excellent command of the main processes, systems, tools used Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Nexus, Java, linux, bash, Docker, Ansible, K8S, CI/CD Implementation, follow up and support;
Experience with scripting languages and software engineering practices (unit tests, code quality, modular structure ...)
Experience with Appdynamics, Hashicorp Vault, Helm,.. are a plus.
You are:
Fluent in either French or Dutch and fluent in IT related English ;
A good communicator with internal and external contacts.

Enddate: 31/12/2026 with possible extension
Interview process: 2 rounds
1st round of 1 hour with the Team Lead and the HR (via Teams)
2nd round of 1 hour for a more technical interview with the N+2 (interview onsite) -
